Description

A refreshing blend of iced tea with orange juice and mint.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp loose black tea (chai patti)
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar (or to taste)
  • 2 cups unsweetened orange juice
  • 56 fresh mint leaves
  • 45 thin orange slices with skin
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. Add the loose tea leaves to the saucepan and cover it with a lid. Steep the tea for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Strain the brewed tea into a jar, discarding the leaves, and allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Stir in the orange juice once the tea has cooled, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Serve by placing ice cubes in each glass along with an orange slice and mint leaves. Pour the chilled iced tea over the ice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust sugar according to taste.
  • For a stronger tea, steep for a longer time.
