Description

This grilled smoked paprika chicken is marinated to perfection, infusing the meat with rich flavors. A delicious and simple dish for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper until combined.
  2. Place the chicken thighs into a large bowl or ziplock bag, add the olive oil, minced garlic, and spice mixture and toss until coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill on medium-high heat and place over direct heat and grill 3-4 minutes, flip and grill another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove to indirect heat and cook another 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Notes

  • For more flavor, let the chicken marinate longer if possible.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken thighs.
