Description

This delicious casserole combines ground beef, French fries, and cheddar cheese, topped with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the meat is browned; drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, stir the cooked beef mixture with milk, cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Spread half of the French fries in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, then pour the beef mixture over the fries, and top with the remaining fries.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
