Description

A delicious and creamy spaghetti casserole topped with melted mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti (uncooked)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • optional toppings (chopped parsley or additional cheese)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente, then drain it well and set it aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, blend softened cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until perfectly smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold in the cooked spaghetti and diced green bell pepper (if using), seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Place the dish in your preheated oven and let it bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Once done, take the casserole out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
