- 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Add spoonfuls of softened cream cheese over the strawberry layer.
- Sprinkle the dry vanilla cake mix evenly over the top—do not stir.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly across the dry mix, covering as much as possible.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.
- Let the cake rest for 15 minutes before serving warm or chilled.
Notes
- This cake can be served warm or chilled, making it versatile for any occasion.
- Using fresh strawberries as a topping adds a nice touch but is optional.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
