- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure they are fully coated; marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated thighs skin-side up in the prepared baking dish and pour any leftover marinade on top.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken thighs overnight.
- This dish pairs well with rice or steamed vegetables.
