Description

Delicious puff pastry rolls filled with spicy jalapeños, savory ground beef, and sharp cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fresh jalapeños (diced, seeds removed)
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, jalapeños, and cheddar until combined.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface into rectangles about 1/8-inch thick. Cut strips approximately 4 inches wide.
  4. Place spoonfuls of the beef mixture at one end of each strip and roll tightly. Seal edges with fingers or a fork.
  5. Brush each roll with egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
