- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup fresh jalapeños (diced, seeds removed)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 medium onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, jalapeños, and cheddar until combined.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface into rectangles about 1/8-inch thick. Cut strips approximately 4 inches wide.
- Place spoonfuls of the beef mixture at one end of each strip and roll tightly. Seal edges with fingers or a fork.
- Brush each roll with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
