Description
Delicious homemade chocolate chip cookie rolls that are soft and chewy!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Set this mixture aside.
- In another bowl, beat together 1 cup of softened unsalted butter and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Incorporate 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out the dough and roll it into small balls. Place them on a lined baking sheet, leaving some space between each ball.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Once baked, remove the Cookie Rolls from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For best results, make sure your butter is softened to room temperature.
- Do not overmix the dough to maintain the cookie’s soft texture.
