Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Set this mixture aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat together 1 cup of softened unsalted butter and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Incorporate 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  6. Gently fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the dough and roll it into small balls. Place them on a lined baking sheet, leaving some space between each ball.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Once baked, remove the Cookie Rolls from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
